Christmas is right around the corner and I am so excited!  I love this time of year (minus the freezing temperatures).  We have lots of fun new things we have been working on.

Mason Jar Lantern Holiday Decals

I love how these turned out.  They were so much fun to make.

You simply spray paint some frosty glass spray paint on to the outside of a glass jar.  (I used a pint jar).  Then apply the vinyl to the smooth side of the jar (typically one side has a raised logo in the glass).

Then wrap some heavy gauge wire around the rim of the jar, and make a handle.  I completely forgot to take pictures to show how to make the handle, but I searched and found this picture tutorial that shows great step by step pictures on how to make a wire handle.

Then add a tea light to the jar.  You can buy a big bag of tea lights at the dollar store (I found 16 for $1).  I also saw a bag of 50 or so of these for 5.99 at Bed Bath and Beyond too.
