I thought it would be fun to start offering a craft project each month. You can buy the kit or the finished project. Each month the selected project will be offered at a discounted price.
If you want to be on the emailing list for the update each month for the craft project just email meand I will include your email address on my list.
The project for this month is this super cute job chart:
My kids are still all fairly young, but I thought that these chores could grow with them.
Dust: all my kids, even the little ones love to dust, if I give them a damp wash cloth, or occassionally spray it with pledge they are entertained for several minutes wiping things down.
Garbage: most of my kids can pull out the trash bags, but my little 2 year old I just have put the new liner back in the trash can.
This way all of these chores can grow with your kids over the years, but yet they still work for little kids too.
The larger board lays horizontally and is 6″x24″. It includes:
-vinyl lettering in displayed font in one of the following colors–cream, white, black, or brown
-6″x24″ routered board
-1″x22″ metal strip (to attach magnet name tags, or you can use glass beads and put their pictures behind, or get a fun shape at the craft store and attach a magnet to the back and write their name on it or order vinyl lettering with their names)
This kit is $13 (plus tax)
Finished Project is $21 (plus tax)
The smaller board stands vertically and is 6″x14″. It includes:
-vinyl lettering in displayed font in one of the following colors–cream, white, black, or brown
-6″x14″ routered board
-1″x9″ metal strip (to attach magnet name tags, or you can use glass beads and put their pictures behind, or get a fun shape at the craft store and attach a magnet to the back and write their name on it or order vinyl lettering with their names)
This kit is $10.50 (plus tax)
Finished Project is $18 (plus tax)
On the two boards I modpodged scrapbook paper over the top of the metal to dress it up a bit, and give it a little bit of color. It was really quick to do, and of course a magnet still sticks to the metal.
